
AMD has officially unveiled the highly anticipated Strix Halo expansion: Ryzen AI Max+ 392 and Ryzen AI Max+ 388 processors. These APUs are set to transform high-end laptops by packing discrete-grade GPU power into an integrated design. Both boast the massive Radeon 8060S graphics featuring 40 RDNA 3.5 Compute Units.
On the CPU side, the 392 offers 12 Zen 5 cores, while the 388 packs 8 Zen 5 cores.

Lower-tier variants with graphics trimmed to 32 Compute Units will also be available: Ryzen AI Max 390 and 385.
