NVIDIA will officially unveil DLSS 4.5 at CES 2026, but we already have details on what this tech will offer. Insiders reveal the upscaler is getting a boost from a second-generation Transformer model, enhancing temporal stability, reducing ghosting, and fixing anti-aliasing glitches. As before, it will support all NVIDIA RTX GPUs.
Frame generation gains a new RTX 50 exclusive: dynamic 3x and 6x multi-generation. NVIDIA aims to let RTX 50 owners insert up to 5 intermediate frames between two native ones. The exact mechanics of this dynamic feature remain unclear, but it’s probable that they’ll include FPS limiting, so generation adds precisely enough frames to reach the cap.
DLSS 4.5 launches on presentation day, with dynamic multi-generation following this spring. Tech demos are slated for NVIDIA’s CES 2026 event.
